I designed the handle knob from such a concept.
If I was going to do it anyway, I thought that I would consider every possibility and stick to it, so I started with the material.
The rubber cork that I was using before absorbs oil and becomes slippery with use, so resin-based products that become sticky due to deterioration over time and temperature differences are not acceptable.
For that reason, we adopted EVA, which is easy to shape and has a wide variety of colors and hardness.
The internal structure uses lightweight and high-strength aluminum, and by cutting it with high precision, we were able to create a very smooth handle knob with no backlash.
The length of 38mm is neither too big nor too small, and there are few troubles such as clutch return, so it is easy to shoot shallow. It has an exquisite size that can be picked up with three fingers when doing it.
Since the cross section is round, even if you touch it intermittently, like a soft bait or a jig, by adding an action with a rod and winding up the surplus line, the flat part will not be caught in your fingers. There is no unconscious movement such as searching for something, and since the tip part spreads like a flange, it will not come off even if you use a roll.
